Below are some of those moments that have helped strengthen and encourage the project to keep pressing on. SPORTS Offer the opportunity to be part of a team through sports, regardless of ability. EDUCATION Help young people learn in a dynamic and fun way so that they really learn to love studying. JOB OPPORTUNITIES VidaGol Café is the first concrete step that the project is taking to create work and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people. CULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES Expanding the horizons of young individuals by providing opportunities through cultural experiences with travel and interaction with people from other countries. Home: News Trajetória TRAJECTORY 2010 Founded in 2010 by Andrew Lorimer and friends in the Dona Marta community of Rio de Janiero, VidaGol was transferred in 2013 to São Paulo. The dream was born from the love for sport, in particular football, and the passion for helping teenagers. These passions and a lot of prayer resulted in VidaGol. 2013 In São Paulo, it started with a small group of young people that started growing... 2015 And growing... 2020 In 2020, friends opened VidaGol Careers - an initiative focused on providing a more effective and comprehensive formal education for young people who do not have the same development opportunities, due to their economic condition. 2021 In October 2021, the inauguration of VidaGol Entrepreneurs - a new arm of the association focused on providing job opportunities for young people, starting with a café space that will be managed by a group of young people from VidaGol. 2022 In July 2022, VidaGol made a dream come true - it took its students to the United Kingdom for an unforgettable trip. The boys visited London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Isle of Skye and Cambridge. The girls swapped the Isle of Skye for Paris! Thank you Lord!!! These are dreams coming true! The VidaGol campus is now larger, with several rooms available, including a music room, a renovated computer room and a recording studio. In June this year, VidaGol Gap Year students will take a trip to London and Amsterdam, God willing, bringing a message of love and expanding their horizons! MID-TERM In January 2019, everyone involved in VidaGol started working hard in training, organizing and trying to raise funds to fulfill their dream of participating in the Gothia Cup 2020. This dream was interrupted by the pandemic in March 2020. It wasn't that time but our football work continues and God willing we will get there in the medium term. LONG TERM Expand the vision of a Christ-centered education to less privileged young people with the opening of a university/professional center of excellence. Statement of Faith 1. We Believe in One God We believe that there is only one God and that He alone created the universe for His praise and glory. We believe that He manifests Himself in three ways: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which we call the Holy Trinity. 2. The Deity, Humanity, and Return of Jesus Christ We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, who, during His time on earth, was 100% man and 100% God. He was born of the virgin Mary, His atoning sacrifice brings us forgiveness and delivers us from the guilt and condemnation of sin. We believe in His bodily resurrection and ascension. We believe that He is seated at the right hand of the Father and in His majestic and glorious return. 3. The Authority and Power of Scripture We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority of the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, in their entirety, as the only written Word of God, without error in everything it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s Word to fulfill its purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is intended for all humanity, for God’s revelation in Christ and Scripture is unchanging. Through it, the Holy Spirit still speaks today, illuminating the minds of God’s people in every culture so that they may perceive its truth in ever-new ways. Thus, He reveals to the Church an increasing portion of the manifold wisdom of God. 4. The Uniqueness and Universality of Christ We affirm that there is only one Savior and one gospel, even though there are various ways to carry out evangelization. We acknowledge that all people have some knowledge of God through His general revelation in nature. However, we deny that such knowledge can save, as people suppress the truth through their unrighteousness. We also reject any form of syncretism or dialogue that assumes Christ speaks equally through all religions and ideologies. Jesus Christ, being the only God-man who offered Himself as the sole ransom for sinners, is the only mediator between God and humanity. There is no other name by which we must be saved. All people are perishing because of sin, but God loves all and desires that none should perish, but that all should repent. However, those who reject Christ reject the joy of salvation and condemn themselves to eternal separation from God. Proclaiming Jesus as the "Savior of the world" does not mean that all people will automatically or eventually be saved, nor that all religions offer salvation in Christ. Rather, it is a proclamation of God's love for a world of sinners and an invitation for all to surrender to Him as Savior and Lord through sincere personal repentance and faith. Jesus Christ has been exalted above every name, and we long for the day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Him as Lord. 5. The Holy Spirit and His Work We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of people, enabling Christians to live a holy life. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, death, and God's judgment. We believe in the new birth, a work carried out in the hearts of people by the Holy Spirit, where the old self dies and a new creation is born. We understand that this work is symbolically represented by baptism by immersion, where faith is publicly confessed. The newborn believer is thus received into the family of faith in Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit plays a fundamental role in the growth and sanctification of every Christian, leading them to Christian maturity and conformity to the image of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit fills the life of every Christian, granting a full and fruitful life in Christ. He continues to distribute spiritual gifts today according to His sovereign will, equipping believers with various abilities to glorify God, serve one another in love, and fulfill the Great Commission. 6. The Universal and Local Church We believe that the universal Church of Christ is His body on earth, composed of individuals who believe in Christ’s lordship, having been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and convicted of sin, death, and God's judgment. Their goal in life is to imitate Christ and make disciples. We believe that the local church is central and of utmost importance in every Christian’s life. We affirm the importance of all who confess Christ belonging to a local body, being shepherded by pastors and teachers, and living out the "one another" commands—loving, bearing with, forgiving, instructing, and counseling one another. We believe in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as sacraments of the Church. 7. The Great Commission We believe in Jesus’ command in Mark 16:15-16 to preach the gospel and make disciples. We believe in an evangelism that involves both words and actions, promoting love for others and pointing to Christ as the Savior of the world. We recognize our social responsibility as disciples of Jesus Christ in modern society. Therefore, we affirm our vision and mission to help young people have the opportunity to study with us, prepare professionally, and learn about God's Word and a Christian worldview of the world in which we live. 8. Family and Marriage We believe that God instituted the family at the beginning of creation, as recorded in Genesis 1:24. A family consists of a man, a woman, and their children. We believe that marriage is sacred and should only be between one man and one woman. The marital relationship should be lived out within the covenant of marriage, uniting both spouses in a holy commitment until death separates them. We recognize monogamous marriage as God’s standard and believe that it should be kept pure for the praise and glory of God.

London and Amsterdam 2023 Support a student Photo - VidaGol Gap Year 2023 students Home: VidaGol Gap Year In June 2023, young people from VidaGol Gap Year will embark on a missionary trip to London and Amsterdam. Thank you for supporting our students on this incredible trip that will change the lives of many people! This would not be possible without your generosity! VidaG ol is a non-profit Christian association that helps young people in difficult financial circumstances to experience a fulfilling life, and that includes bringing that love to other people . This trip is about that. In London, students will have the opportunity to love and show the difference that Jesus' love has made in their lives. We will work in partnership with churches, serving in the ministries in which they operate. This includes working with homeless people, cleaning, construction and helping those in need. We will also bring the good news of the gospel - of hope for a rich new life despite financial issues. The UK is a financially rich country but people face a lot of spiritual poverty. VidaGol students will have many opportunities in service and church meetings to bless and enliven many lives in England. But they will also receive the love of the Lord! They will get to know cities and countries that they never imagined they would visit. All thanks to your generosity! Subscribe A LITTLE ABOUT EACH COURSE... HIGH SCHOOL I FOR TEENAGERS AGED 15 AND 16, WHO ARE IN THE 1ST AND 2ND YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL! High School I is a program for teenagers between 15 and 16 years old, which operates outside of regular school hours. The objective of the course is to offer academic support to students, providing them with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of important content that is required for major entrance exams. We also offer robust English language instruction and spiritual support, where we have Bible classes and weekly devotions.
